20: Orange Soap | English | Printed
Many businesses these days focus merely on creating a product out of a primary resource. Let’s take the orange for example. The flesh is used to make juice, but the skins are discarded. The skins can be used to create an efficient, bio-degradable soap as well as containing oil used as the base of perfume. This Fable asks us to convert waste streams into revenue, increasing profits and reducing landfill waste!
This Fable is inspired by Carl-Göran Hedén founder of the Biofocus Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Ekvitec AB. Hedén has a broad scientific experience derived from a thesis in biophysics.
Gunter's Fables are structured to include the following learning guides and categories: Did You Know, Think About It, Teachers and Parents Guide, Academic Knowledge, Emotional Intelligence, The Arts, Systems: Making the Connections, Capacity to Implement and even who the fable is inspired by!
